Avocados! Or as my culture call it Niu You Guo (牛油果), which literally means oily fruit.
Avocado naturally contains rich oil, which means it's great for your skin!
Avocados also provide as much as 20 essential nutrients! Including fiber, potassium, Vitamin E, B-vitamins and folic acid.
They also act as a "nutrient booster" by enabling the body to absorb more fat-soluble nutrients in foods that are eaten with the fruit.
A few ways I like to enjoy my share of avocados are
1. Facial Mask
Using a whole avocado, cutting it in half, I scoop out half of the avocado in a bowl and mash it with a fork till it's completely mooshie, and then I add a tea spoon of honey in the mix ( because as my previous post here explains, honey is full of nutrition that are good for your body as well). Then I apply the mixture on my face, and I leave it on for 10 minutes before washing it off with luke warm water. Then rinse with cold water to close pores.
2. Eat it!
I know a few ways people tend to eat avocados. Most common way is to mix it in salads. Make guacamole dips. Burrito or tacos. But I like to eat it with a sprinkle of sugar on top!
YUP! You heard it.
After the facial I tend to scoop out the other half of the avocado in a clean bowl, sprinkle it with some sugar and mix it before devouring. For a bit more of flavor you could try adding a sprinkle of cinnamon! However I enjoy the fresh taste of buttery avocado.
enjoy~
