The past few weeks I have been so busy with my new job.
Working so much has made me realize how much I appreciate the free time I had before I took on this job.
Not to mention a face free of make up.
With less time to spare, this has motivated me to invest in a good skin care, this way I can fit it in as part of my face wash routine instead of wasting time applying foundation.
Good skin = Less foundation = More sleep in the morning = Better skin hA!
After using a couple Japanese products such as a collagen spray (which I had an allergic reaction to), Lancome's Youth Activating Serum, and a couple other brands, I have listed Estee Lauder's Idealist Even Skintone Illuminator as my ultimate go to item.
The serum is so light yet creamy. It is not overwhelming to my oily skin, and yet it keeps my face moist. After I apply this serum I apply a layer of my regular lotion, my face feels nice and soft without feeling oily.
It is definitely a bit on the pricey side, however after using this item for a while you will not be spending much more money on foundation. It is an investment for sure. Out of everything I have tried (and believe me I have tried..many), I give this a 5 star (out of 5).
I hope this post helped those out there who are on the fence about this product, and if you haven't thought about trying it out, put it on your xmas list!
Always remember it is as important to maintain a healthy skin on the inside as well as on the outside.

In China we have a say, eat products that are fresh and made for the season, because it is what your body needs and crave for the season. The next couple of weeks are my favorite of the year, autumn is such a beautiful month, full of wonderful colors and yummy comfort food, cozy sweaters, pretty scarves and not to mention, THANKSGIVING (num num num).
This month my favorite fruits and veggies are baby Papayas (orange), Persimmons (orange), Tangerines (orange), Pumpkins (orange). I always feel like my skin is glowing during fall, maybe it's all the in take of all these orangie fruits and veggies?
Have a wonderful Fall everyone!
Nail color of the week: Essies Chinchilly
