It's summer! And Philadelphia has never been hotter. We are currently enduring the heat which hits about 99 degrees today..
It is very important to learn how to eat properly in this type of weather in order to give our body the proper ingredience it needs while it's working hard sweating off the heat.
One of the things I always keep at home are fruits. However, my boyfriend doesn't particularly like to indulge fruits during his snack time. His hand always reaches out for sweets and cookies rather than berries and melons.
A way I found to make it easier for him to eat them is by purchasing and paring fruits with different colors. Studies have shown that if something looks pretty, we find that it taste better. So next time, try to arrange a tray of fruits in the colors of a rainbow. It's pretty to look at and healthy to eat.
