Take a Breather.. for your skin!

Gwyneth, Mila and Scarlet all possess the glowy dewy skin I envy. I went to Sephora today in the hopes to find an illuminating foundation or blush, to help my dull skin look a little more natural (after foundation my skin tend to look matted and a little TOO perfect.. without any nature glow) and brighter. Yet another step to add to my make-up routine.

With the helpful staffs showing me everything from Chanel to their own Sephora line, powder to gel. There was simply nothing that could catch my eyes or what I was really looking for. Deep down, I knew that in order to get the glowy dewy skin I had to step up my game in the right skin care regimen. I am pretty good at washing and toning my face. However, I have been lazy and therefore not as up keep with my facial and exfoliating as much as I should.

Nor am I eating enough fruits or drinking enough water, but that's another story for another post.

Along with those I have also been looking into serums lately. Since I am reaching for my mid twenties in a few years, I remember what my mother taught me. Prevention is always better thantreatment. So yes I have not seen any fine lines on my face, nor is my skin in need of an urgent fix. I would like still like to keep them looking and remain this way for as long as possible. After much research I decided to invest in a youthful serum, in which will help my skin lock in the moisture, and it's loaded with vitamins! Which will repair any that my skin lost to either the UV light, or simply pollution of the city.

I have also swore to wear less makeup on my days off, to help my skin BREATHE. Lastly, for fun, I decided to include a picture of silk pillowcase, why you ask? Because some believe that silk pillow case is actually good for skin and hair.

Oh and yes of course, don't forget your daily in take of water as well as vitamins!

Happy Tuesday!
